Learn about cutting edge applications of machine learning, scalable data analytics, deep learning, data innovation, phenotyping, AI-driven robotic services and much more, for agriculture & food security
Data Science has the potential to revolutionize agriculture and address food security challenges. To accomplish such aspiring goal we need to connect state of the art analytical methods, agricultural data and domain knowledge. DRAGON training school will provide unique blend of data science courses on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data and Scalable Data Analytics with case studies such as crop mapping and monitoring, precision farming, phenotyping, molecular data from crops and soil biodiversity. Lecturers from leading European academia: Wageningen University, Strathclyde University; research institutes: INRA, VITO, NIOO, IPK- Gatersleben; companies and innovation centres: Soil Essentials, Dalberg Data Insights, Small Robot Company and Agri-EPI will provide high quality training materials.
